On February 23, ACT Chief Minister and Minister for Territory and Municipal Services, Katy Gallagher announced the arrival of an electric passenger car, the Mitsubishi iMiEV, into the ACT Government fleet. There are expected to be up to 10 iMiEV’s introduced into the ACT Government fleet this year and each will be powered by 100% Greenchoice electricity.

This initiative is a fantastic demostration of how Canberra can use electric vehicles and renewable energy to decouple greenhouse gas emissions from the transport sector.
